Hi! This is our first trip to WDW late oct and we want it to be special. Our children are 5,7, and 9. We are thinking of staying on disney property and considering either Grand Floridian, Sarasota Springs or Animal Kingdom. Thoughts on what is better?

Hi Michelle! How exciting to be planning your family's Disney vacation. Of the three resorts you mentioned, Saratoga Springs has the least amount of Disney theming. I love its location, nestled on a golf course and a short walk to Downtown Disney, but given your kids' ages, I would opt for the other two.

The Grand Floridian would be my resort of choice. It's gorgeous. If you're going to be spending time at the Magic Kingdom, it's ideal as it's a short, five minute monorail ride away. You won't be diasppointed. If your children are animal lovers, then head straight to the Animal Kingdom Lodge. They will be amazed at all the animals that they'll see roaming the safaris on the surrounding grounds.

I hope this helps with your decision-making Michelle! I'm confident you won't be disappointed whichever you choose!
