This is our first trip to WDW with our children (ages 7,5,4 and 2) and we can't decide whether to go in Sept (21-28) or Oct (19 - 26)!? Less crowds and $$ in Sept but better weather in Oct. Is Sept still very humid & are there still daily "4:00

    Hi Catherine,

Tough choice! But either time will be fun for your family!

You are right that September will be cheaper than October as most families are back in school. September will start the reduction of the humidity and the evenings will be slightly warmer than October though not the deciding factor.

The advantage to October over September are the extras. Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Epcot's International Food and Wine Festival are two popular events in October. My family really enjoys both events and it is one reason why we enjoy October at the Walt Disney World Resorts.

I hope this helps you make your decision!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
