    Our first trip to WDW from Canada. 5 Adults 5 children ages 2, 5, 6,7 and *8 *(Birthday Girl) will turn 9 while we are on vacation. Booked home at Windsor Hills, booked WDW 7 day tickets, MNSS event booked. Need advise for BEST character meal planning.

    Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World Vacation, Barb!  It sounds like you are off to a great start with your vacation planning!  Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is my favorite Special Event at Walt DIsney World!  Character Dining Experiences offer guests the opportunity to meet Disney Characters in a more intimate setting (table side) while enjoying a delicious meal! Our favorite Character Dining Experiences include Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort featuring the "Fab 5" and 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast located at Disney's Polynesian Resort featuring Lilo and Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. Chef Mickey's has a festive atmosphere and is a great setting for a birthday celebration.  At Chef Mickey's, the Disney Characters get the guests to join them in a special "Celebrate" song by having everyone twirl their napkins overhead. Chef Mickey's is open for breakfast and dinner. For the birthday girl, you may also want to consider booking a Character Dining Experience with the Disney Princesses at either Cinderella's Royal Table located in Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom or Akershus Royal Banquet Hall in the Norway Pavilion at Epcot. Guests may begin booking Advanced Dining Reservations for Character Dining Experiences 180 days in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here.  Be sure to pick up a complimentary birthday celebration button at Guest Relations at any theme park for the birthday girl! She will love receiving birthday wishes from cast members and other guests on her special day! I hope this information helps!
