This is our first trip toWDW & have tickets to Mickey's Merry Christmas Party. Would quick service or table service be better during the party? We don't want to miss anything! What other events go on during the party?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Wendy!

How exciting you will be visiting Walt Disney World for the first time! I know you must be getting super excited! Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is such a fun, festive celebration at Magic Kingdom Park! There's nothing better than to see magical snow falling on Main Street, U.S.A. while enjoying complimentary cookies and hot cocoa!

Based on my own personal experience, I would suggest enjoying a quick-service meal rather than taking the time to dine at a table-service restaurant. I have always found that having a large lunch and then a quick-service dinner during the party, works well for my family of six. This also allows our family to spend the majority of the evening experiencing the events unique to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party rather than sitting in a restaurant.

At Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, guests are treated to special holiday shows, meet-and-greet opportunities with some of the most beloved Disney Characters, and Character dance parties.  My favorite entertainment offerings include Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks spectacular. You will be amazed at just how beautiful Cinderella Castle is with the shimmering Castle Dream Lights! I hope this information is helpful to you! Please don't hesitate to visit us again with any additional questions. Best wishes for a magical and merry trip, Wendy!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
