This is the first trip that my toddler is not in a pack and play or crib. We are in a deluxe room at the Grand Floridian and I'm trying to figure out how the day bed looks pulled out and if I need a bed rail. Also where to rent one or if Disney provides?

Hi, Ami!  The daybed at the Grand Floridian basically looks like a single bed when it's all set up.  If you do a search in Google images, you'll find several photos of the bed made up, so you'll get an idea of what to expect.  It is pushed up against the wall on one side, so no worries at least on that side.

You can request bed rails from your resort.  If you've already made your reservation, you can call and ask them to note it on the existing reservation, or you can include it as a request when you make your arrangements.  While there is no guarantee, since they are first come, first served, I've never not been able to get one.  There seems to be decent availability.

The bed rails available through Walt Disney World resorts are free of charge to use during your stay.  I always remind them when I check in that the room needs one, especially if the room is not ready when we arrive.  They usually bring it up shortly after check-in.

Have a wonderful time on your upcoming vacation, and congratulations on this milestone!
