    This is our first trip. Staying at coronado springs resort, with hubby and 5/7 yr old. Haven't seen many pics on the rooms. What do you think about this resort? Any suggestions on upgraded rooms and being close to the first or second bus stop?

    Christin,

    I stayed at this resort last December, and I loved it. I think you will too!

    I think that the best rooms are in Casitas Building 1, as you are close to the main lobby building, all of it's amenities, and that bus stop. I also like the Casitas theming better, though that is obviously a personal taste thing, and open to debate.

    I will also say that my room in that building was definitely a recent refurbished room, though I don't know what schedule or progress they have made elsewhere.

    In the other areas/themed sections of the resort I recommend these buildings (in order of preference);

    • Cabanas: Building 9A
    • Casitas (2nd choice in the section): Building 4
    • Ranchos: Building 6A
    Be aware that if you are in Building 9A, you want to NOT go to the main lobby building for bus service, but instead over by building 8A, which is the last bus stop in the resort. Otherwise you have to sit on the bus as it makes it's way back through all the stops.

    Please feel free to send me any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
