    This is my first trip as a parent. I need to know where to start? How do I start to plan my trip?

    Melissa,

    The first thing to do is relax and know that you are in good hands! It is not as complex as it may seem, if you take it step by step. Here are your first decisions;

    1. When do you want to go? (approximate dates)
    2. What is your budget?
    3. How many of you are traveling? (what ages is important as well)

    4. Accommodations
    When you have determined 1 through 3, the next step is to decide what are the right accommodations for you, based largely on your budget and dates of travel. When you search the website for resorts during your travel dates, your budget will help you know which class of resort (Deluxe, Moderate, Value, etc.) fits you best. Within whatever accommodation class you pick, you have several differently themed resorts, often with some unique features that may or may not appeal to you.

    I am glad to walk you through all this if you write me back with the answers to these questions. Let me know dates of travel, party size (with ages), and class of resort. After that we can tackle tickets, park plans, and even restaurant suggestions.

    Have a magical vacation!
