This will be our first trip not using Disney transport. Are there any detailed road maps available so I can plan my routes between the parks and hotels? I'm old school and dont use a gps. Thanks so much!!

    Hi Lisa,

All of the bell services desks at the WDW have maps of the Disney area available free of charge. They'll be happy to give you one, or more, just ask. Also, if you're renting a car, the rental agency will also have free maps of the area.

Even when I use a GPS, I also use Google Maps or Mapquest to print out directions and maps (I like to have all my bases covered). You can find the street addresses for all the WDW hotels on their pages on the Disney website. For example, note the Animal Kingdom Lodge address on the right hand side of the page.

And of course you can always purchase a full road map. If you go on Amazon.com, look for Fleximap Walt Disney World Resort and others that are similar.

    Happy driving.
