First trip in March with 5 and 3. We are staying at Bay Lake Tower. Would it be impossible to bring a large double jogging stroller? It's very tough to fold/transport, but would be the best ride for the kids and easiest to push. Thank you.

    Heather,

I have never owned a double jogging stroller, but I do see a lot of families using them in Disney.  We have a tandem double, and I think there are advantages/disadvantages to both.  The double jogger is very wide, so it can be difficult to navigate through a crowd.  However, this is the style that Disney rents, and that most offsite stroller rental companies provide as well, so you certainly won't be the only family with this issue.

From Bay Lake Tower, you can easily walk over to the Magic Kingdom so the stroller would be great there.  You can also take the monorail to Epcot, and I have seen many double jogging strollers on the monorail, so I know that they do fit.  The only places I can say for sure that you'd have to fold it up is when you take a bus to Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.  The buses do not allow strollers to stay open, they must be folded and carried on.  It's a bit of a pain I know, but honestly it's a pain no matter what kind of stroller you're using, so I wouldn't let that make the decision for me.

Bottom line, I think you should bring whatever the kids will be most comfortable in and work around any other little issues that might come up.  Don't worry about your stroller choice at all, it will be just fine if you allow yourselves a few extra minutes to fold and store it as you travel.

    Have a magical vacation!
