First trip was last year 9/25-10/2. This year trip is 10/20-10/30. What should we expect different, especially weather? How should we pack differently? TIA

Greetings! How exciting that you are planning your second trip to Walt Disney World! I have vacationed in both September and October and think they are both great months to visit! I have personally found them to be very similar as far as crowds levels go. Crowd levels tend to be quite mild that time of year, as compared to the busier summer months, holiday seasons, and spring break periods. The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be going on when you return, as well as, the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Parties, which are held on select evenings in the Magic Kingdom. September does seem to be rather warm still in the South as does October for the most part. However, toward mid-October we usually start seeing a little cooler weather, which is perfect for touring the parks! We visited two years ago in October and we definitely needed jackets when the sun went down. The average high in October is 85 and the average low is around 65. I would plan to pack short sleeved shirts and shorts, a pair of jeans or pants, along with a sweatshirt or jacket for any cool evenings. The pools at the Walt Disney World Resorts are heated so you may definitely want to pack your swimsuits! I hope this information helps! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you!  I would love to assist you as you plan for your Magical Walt Disney World Vacation, PT!
