This will be our first trip to DW, we have a 7yr old son, should we plan to visit Animal Kingdom all day? We are going the 2nd week of Sept. Will we be able to ride most of the rides without rushing? How busy will it actually be?

Hi Bobbi! You've picked a great time of year for your family's first visit to Walt Disney World! Park attendance levels are generally quite low in September since many children have just started back to school. In fact, the unofficial website TouringPlans.com is predicting crowds to be only a 1 out of 10 during the second week of September when you're visiting. You should be able to experience lots of attractions with little waiting during your visit to the parks.

To experience everything Animal Kingdom has to offer, I'd plan to spend a day there. Hit the main attractions first, like Kilimanjaro Safaris and Expedition Everest, and save the rest of the day for exploring the animal trails and the Affection Section petting zoo at Conservation Station.

Wishing you a magical vacation! Come visit us again at the Moms Panel if you have more questions! We'd love to help!
