This is our first trip to Disney with our 4 year old daughter. I'm overwhelmed by the options and was hoping someone could tell me which parks a 4 year old (almost 5) girl would enjoy most.

Matt, first of all, know that we've all been in your shoes!  There is so much to see and do, so many places to eat, and so many resorts to stay at, Walt Disney World can be seriously overwhelming!  You know your daughter better than anyone, but as mom to three daughters, I can pretty much guarantee that the Magic Kingdom is a must do for your little princess.  The centerpiece of Walt Disney World, the Magic Kingdom is going to have something for everyone in your family, but your daughter will be captivated!  In addition to things like Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride; It's A Small World; and the Tiki Room - all Magic Kingdom classics - you will find pirates, princesses, and Mickey himself.

As for the other theme parks, each of my girls has a different favorite.  My oldest daughter, even from the time she was young, is a huge EPCOT fan.  My middle daughter, who just turned eight yesterday, can't get enough of Disney's Hollywood Studios.  She even chose to go there to celebrate her big birthday!  But my almost four year old loves Disney's Animal Kingdom.  She loves to look at the animals and go to the petting zoo; but she also really enjoys the Festival of the Lion King and It's Tough to Be a Bug.

If you are thinking of visiting the water parks, my girls all enjoyed Blizzard Beach.  There is something for children and adults of all ages there, so you can't go wrong at any age.

Have an absolutely magical first trip!
