    FIRST TRIP TO DISNEY AND I AM UNFAMILIAR WITH THE PARKS, SOMEONE TOLD ME TO DO ONE PARK IN THE MORNING AND ANOTHER IN THE AFTERNOON, DO YOU THINK THAT THIS IS A GOOD IDEA OR NOT SINCE I DO NOT KNOW MY WAY AROUND? I ONLY HAVE FOUR DAYS.

    The main thing to do is to take a break in the afternoon. I am obviously a huge Disney fan and know the place like the back of my hand, but after about 4-5 hours of touring, I get some big-time sensory overload and need a break, with small children, the window of focus might be even shorter. I recommend going back to your resort (if you're staying on WDW property) and taking a nap or a swim, or at the very least book a calm table service lunch where you can sit and unwind for a bit. Then when you're refreshed, you can go back to touring, either at the same park or a different one.

    First time guests are often tempted to try to "do it all" in one visit. I really caution against this. My experience is that for just about everyone, enjoyment of almost everything plummets when you're hot and tired. Take a little break and you'll have a much better time.
