This is our first trip to disney, we are staying outside of disney and will have kids 7,5, & 2. Wondering what things are or aren't allowed to cary in the theme parks. Do bags have to be clear or can any cary bag be brought in?

    Amy,

When you approach any of the four parks there are bag check lines. Any bags like purses, backpacks, etc. are checked there by Disney security. You absolutely do NOT have to carry clear bags. They will ask you to open all compartments, and will check them for anything not allowed. Oh, and you can bypass the bag check lines if you have no bags to check!

You are allowed to bring a pretty wide array of things into the parks. The NO items should be fairly obvious, but many are surprised that you can bring in water bottles, food, and lots of other daily requirements. It is not like the line at the airport or a movie theater trying to monopolize your snacking dollars!

Please feel free to ask us about specific items by sending another question!

    Have a magical vacation!
