    First trip to Disney stay at animal kingdom lodge with a five yr need tips on dining for the week looking at boma Ohara rain forest cafe T. rex cafe and coral reef with the Disney chef breakfast. Is this a good start or do u have other sugg

    Congratulations on planning your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort! I'm really excited to see that you've chosen to stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge -- my family are huge fans of this amazing resort and we have enjoyed many stays there! There are many complimentary activities for children offered at Animal Kingdom Lodge, so be sure to pick up a Monthly Activities calendar when you check in. I recommend spending at least one morning, afternoon or evening at the resort to experience these activities and to view the native African wildlife on the resort's savannas. 

    You're definitely off to a great start with your dining selections! Boma, 'Ohana and Coral Reef offer wonderfully unique dining experiences. I would suggest choosing between Rainforest Cafe and T. REX Cafe since both offer a similar experience -- it really depends on whether your 5-year old is a bigger fan of dinosaurs or tropical rainforest animals. Based on the previous question you asked the Moms Panel (answered by my fellow Panelist Miguel O.), I believe you're also planning to enjoy breakfast at Chef Mickey's. Great choice! I would recommend adding in at least one more Character Dining experience; I'm not sure if you have a little prince or princess, but my top picks are Cinderella's Royal Table and The Crystal Palace (Magic Kingdom), Tusker House (Animal Kingdom Theme Park) and Akershus Royal Banquet Hall (Norway Pavilion at Epcot). 

    If you'd like to have a delicious and convenient quick-service meal while at Animal Kingdom Lodge, I highly recommend The Mara. This is one of my family's favorite quick-service locations in all of Walt Disney World!
