Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rachel!
It is absolutely fabulous that you will be taking your daughters to the Most Magical Place on Earth for the very first time this spring! I can't think of a better place than the Magic Kingdom to turn five years old!
When we celebrated my daughter's birthday at Magic Kingdom, I found it was the little moments that we remember the most. First, we stopped at the
Emporium and let the Cast Members know it was her birthday. They gave her a birthday celebration button that she proudly wore all day. It was fun watching her face light up as guests, Cast Members and her favorite characters wished her a "Happy Birthday!" when they saw her button.
Later in the day, we stopped by Cinderella's Wishing Well, located along the walking path between
Cinderella Castle and Tomorrowland, so she could make a wish for the upcoming year. We also took a moment to capture a picture of our birthday princess here with the iconic castle in the background.
Create a magical moment by finding a great spot for your family to enjoy the parade together. If you find a spot along the curb, your little one can dance along with her favorite Disney pals and wave as they pass by. Stop by
Fantasy Faire outside of Mickey's PhilharMagic to commemorate the day with the pair of personalized "birthday girl" Mickey Mouse ears. Finally, treat your daughter to a balloon on Main Street U.S.A. and allow her to pick out any sweet treat of her choosing at the
Main Street Confectionery as your day comes to a close.
Don't forget to take advantage of
Disney's PhotoPass and
Memory Maker services to capture all of your family's magical moments as you celebrate this special day. Remember, the greatest gift you can give your daughter are the memories of your day together!
See ya real soon! Angie
