We are on our first trip to disney and have made dinner reservations for 7/9 for the dinner show at the Polynesian resort. Is there a dress code? Thank you

    Hi, Diane!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. Congratulations on making your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner show at the Polynesian Resort will entertain you in style with hula dancers, fire-knife performers and drummers and also please your palate with sweet and savory tropical Polynesian fare. Like most dining venues at Walt Disney World Resort, the dress code for the Spirit of Aloha show is resort casual -- shorts and t-shirts are fine, but Guests are asked not to wear swimsuits or swimsuit cover-ups, cut-offs, torn clothing or shirts with offensive language or graphics. Since Spirit of Aloha is held in Luau Cove which is an open-air venue, you'll want to be sure to dress comfortably in the July heat when temperatures typically remain in the low- to mid-80 range in the evenings.

Wishing you a magical first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Please don't hesitate to write back if I can offer any other assistance while you're enjoying your stay at the Most Magical Place on Earth!
