Our first trip to Disney is in June. My question is, We have reservations for Cinderella's Royal Table for breakfast. I have 2 daughters ages 7 and 10. I was wondering are they suppose to dress up for the breakfast? What do most girls wear? Thanks

What your girls wear is totally up to you. I have been to the Royal Table perhaps a dozen times over the years with my three daughters. Only once were they dressed in princess attire. All the other times they've worn just their regular shorts and t-shirts that they came to the park in. While my kids are not big on the dress-up thing, you will see many girls who are dressed up. My rough guess is that about half of the girls (and maybe 10% of the boys) will have some sort of costume on. In my observation, generally, the younger the child, the more likely it is that she will be wearing princess gear. I have seen absolutely no difference whatsoever in the way children are treated at the meal wearing costumes or not. Every child gets the same quality attention from the characters no matter what they're wearing. Your girls should just do what feels comfortable for them.

If they happen to be on the fence about the costume thing, a good solution might be to get them a dress-up tiara or some other small accessory. This way they will be in the spirit, but not weighed down by a full gown.

    Have a great time!
