This is our first trip to Disney during Christmas time! I know it's a personal preference, but I'm trying to decide which nighttime show to see. Would you recommend the Wishes, Fantasmic or Jingle Jam? We've never stayed for fireworks before.

    Hi Tia!

Although you are right that it is a personal preference, and all of the fireworks shows throughout the Walt Disney World Resort are fantastic, I definitely have a favorite!

Fantasmic! is a fantastic show where you will see the forces of good and evil battle through Mickey's imaginative dream world, but there are fewer fireworks than other fireworks spectaculars throughout the resort.  Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! is a fun holiday-themed fireworks special where you will see the showdown to rescue Santa and save Christmas.  If you are lucky, since both of these shows are located at Disney's Hollywood Studios, you may even be able to experience both on the same night!

That being said, although all of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park give me happy tears, there is just something special about Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season that adds extra pixie dust to the magical holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Especially since you have never stayed for fireworks, even though it is probably the most popular of the shows, I think that Holiday Wishes is definitely the best choice.  There is nothing more magical than watching gorgeous fireworks over the twinkling Cinderella Castle!

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
