First trip is coming up in September for all of us. I heard that I could get my son's first haircut there but that they don't take appointments. Will it be very busy there and if so what's your advice on getting thru it quickly? Thanks.

Hi, Jennifer!  All of my daughters have had their first haircuts at the Harmony Barber Shop at the Magic Kingdom!  It can get very busy, and they do not take appointments, so unless you time it right, you might find yourself waiting behind a long line of people.  I planned my last daughter's haircut terribly, and waited behind about eight other people!

My best advice is to go as early in the day as you can or try during parade time.  I've found it gets busier later in the day, and the barber shop closes at 5, so if you wait too late, you might find they haven't got time to fit you in.

I hope you love the experience as much as I did!  I have wonderful memories and terrific pictures of this experience, and I can't tell you how wonderful the barbers there were with my girls.  I highly recommend them!

Have a great vacation, and keep your camera (and tissues!!) handy!
