Hi. Our first trip is coming up in June. We are staying at AS Sports and have reservation for the BBB at 8:00 at MK (not EMH day). Does the DTS will be running early enough to accomodate our appointment? What time should we leave to get to BBB on time? Thx

    Hi Julie,

Theoretically, there should be early buses which take guests to character meals and BBB appointments well before park opening. However, we've been hearing reports lately that this service is on the decline. My honest advice to you is to take a cab to the Magic Kingdom.

Actually, you should take a cab from the All Star Sports to the Grand Floridian. And from the Grand Floridian take the monorail to the Magic Kingdom (this will actually be faster than if the cab drops you at the MK taxi stand which is really at the Transportation and Ticket Center). The cab ride will run you a bit under $20.

I would make sure to leave your hotel room by 7:00 a.m. This will allow you to walk to the front of the resort, wait for a cab (ask the Bell Services desk to call one for you), take the cab ride, transfer to the monorail, go through MK security, check in and walk to the castle.

When you're at the MK, look for a cast member with a clipboard at one of the far turnstiles. They will have your reservation on the list and allow you into the park before it opens.

Have a great visit to Walt Disney World!
