Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Vanessa!
OH MY DISNEY! I am so excited to hear that you will be sailing with Captain Mickey for the
VERY FIRST TIME to celebrate your daughter's birthday! You are going to make so many special memories together during this vacation. I cannot wait for you to get your high seas adventure started.
When your
advance booking window opens, you can choose to pre-register your daughter for time in the
Oceaneer Club and
Oceaneer Lab during your online check-in. If you would prefer to do this in person, you may also wait and register her for the youth clubs at the cruise terminal or at the actual clubs once you are onboard the ship. During embarkation day, the youth clubs typically have open house time to allow you and your daughter to explore the space and meet the youth counselors!
While your little one is in the club, they are always able to get a hold of you while you enjoy some "me time" in the
Quiet Cove Pool, dinner at
Palo or any of the other adult exclusive activities onboard. You will have a
wave phone in your stateroom that you can take with you anywhere on the ship throughout your sailing. If your daughter needs to reach you, she can ask the youth counselors at any time to call you. My daughter was never shy about giving us a call!
For some extra pixie to celebrate your princess's special day, consider a royal makeover at the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique or extend her an invitation to the
Royal Court Royal Tea! These are some of my favorite memories with my daughter. Seeing her face light up during these events was priceless! Don't forget to let your server in the rotational dining rooms know that you are celebrating as well. You never know what kind of magic may happen!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before you set sail, Vanessa! A very happy early birthday to your daughter!
"Sea" ya real soon! Angie
