First timers. We were wanting to send a package to our resort in advance. How far in advance would you advise sending it?Thanx for all your wonderful advice!!

The resorts will accept packages for incoming guests, but they don't have unlimited storage space for this. I would speak with your local post office (or UPS or FedEx or whatever you plan to use) and ask how long they expect your package to take to get to WDW based on the distance and the weight of your shipment. I would time it so that your package arrives 1 to 2 days before you do. That way you'll be safe in case there's a small delay, but you won't be taking up WDW storage for too long.

When you mail your package, send it to the resort in care of yourself. Be sure to indicate on the package that you are a resort guest and all the date of your arrival. Now that the airlines are cracking down on excess baggage, sending yourself a package of bulky items like diapers can really make your vacation easier.
