First timers staying at POR- royal theme room-garden view. March 4-9. Arriving mid-pm on the 4th and not flying out till 6pm on the 9th. Suggestions on itinerary? We have the dining plan and a park hopper for all 6 days. thanks.

    Hi Linda!

I'll be glad to try and help!

Since you'll be arriving later in the day on the 4th, this would be a great time to schedule a character meal outside of the parks - perhaps Chef Mickey's or Cape May Cafe? Dining with Mickey & his friends is a great way to really kick off a trip! Depending on time and how much energy you have after traveling, you could then head over to Downtown Disney for some shopping or just to soak up the atmosphere!

On you're first full day, rise & shine as early as you can and head over to the Magic Kingdom! Enjoy the day touring the park and soaking up all the Magic! Be sure to hit your "must-do" rides first thing in the morning, and then everything else will be a bonus!

After a full day at Magic Kingdom or Epcot - the parks we tend to walk the most in - I like to use the next day to head over to Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios which typically close earlier.

Next up, a day at Epcot followed by your remaining park. And, of course, the last day is a great time to revisit any parks that you just didn't get to spend enough time in!

At night, if you've toured the parks to your heart's content, its a great time to revisit Downtown Disney or have some downtime at your resort.

Hope this helps! Have a great trip!
