Hello i am a first timer at wdw and i was wondering if i have dinner reservations in a particular park does that mean i can only be at that park for the day i do not have park hopper passes i am staying on site and have access one park per day for 5 days

    Hi Dorothea!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on taking your first trip to Walt Disney World! I'm sure it'll be a trip you'll always cherish.

If you have purchased the Walt Disney World theme park ticket that only allows for one park per day the first park you enter each day will be the only one you can enter. For example, if you have breakfast dining reservations at Be Our Guest Restaurant at Magic Kingdom, once you enter that park for the day that counts as your entry. My family usually plans our dining reservations around which park we plan on being in each day.

If this hasn't worked out with your plans so far you have a couple options. You can either try and rebook your dining reservations to coincide with the park you planned to spend each day or you can upgrade and add the park hopper option at any time.

You may also be interested in checking out some of the amazing restaurants at the other Walt Disney World Resort hotel locations around property. Some popular destinations include Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort or 'Ohana at Disney' Polynesian Village Resort. These both allow you to take transportation to the Magic Kingdom without entry, then hop on the monorail to enjoy your meal! This way you'll get to experience some wondEARful dining without locking yourself into a park for that day.

Please let me know if you have any other questions before your trip!
