Ahoy, Tayla!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you have a very special vacation planned with Disney Cruise Line. I believe there is
nothing more magical than sailing with Mickey, so I'm excited to hEAR you'll have an opportunity to experience this firsthand with your twins.
Tayla, you'll be happy to know Disney Cruise Line makes
sailing with little ones very easy. My Mouseketeers were toddler and preschool age the first time we cruised, and I was pleasantly surprised at what a relaxing and stress-free vacation we experienced. The Cast & Crew were a huge part of making us feel at home and helping us with those daily duties of parenthood, including having everything we couldn't bring onboard. If your twins are under three when you cruise, you'll have an opportunity to reserve time at
"it's a small world" nursery! when you want to enjoy some of the adult-only offerings onboard. Since there is a nominal hourly fee for this space, reservations are required. These can be made ahead of time when your onboard booking window opens up (75 days before departure for first-time cruisers) or once on the ship. They are first-come, first-serve, so you may want to go ahead and plan for a few hours ahead of time. There is a separate sleeping area from the interactive play area, so nap time is an option. After you embark, you can take the twins to check out the nursery during the Open House hours and speak with the youth counselors with any questions you may have about the area. My son loved his time there, and I enjoyed being able to peek in on him because of the two-way glass feature by the check-in area!
There are many adult-exclusive offerings onboard Disney Cruise Line, Tayla. I hope you'll have a few opportunities to enjoy these and find time to relax by the
Quiet Cove Pool. If you have any other questions, please let us know. We'd love to hEAR from you again.
