First timer - meal plan or club level??? Also are there 1 bedroom villas at Fort Wilderness?

    Hi Melissa!

You've asked a really difficult question! I personally LOVE the Club Level accommodations at Walt Disney World deluxe hotels, so my answer may surprise you.

Since its your first visit, I am going to recommend that you go with the meal plan. I think this will be the best way for you to maximize your in-park time and enjoy some great dining options. There is so much to see and do at the parks, that you may not want to spend time heading back to your resort in order to enjoy the later afternoon snacks or a glass of wine (one of the perks of Club Level). Instead, you can make an Advance Dining Reservation for a unique meal using the Dining Plan.

I do highly recommend making your dining reservations as far in advance as you can. Reservations for nearly all venues are taken up to 180 days in advance and the most popular restaurants do fill up quickly! And, be sure to select at least one character dining experience!!

Ft. Wilderness does not feature villa accommodations, but do have cabins which sleep up to 6 guests. Wilderness Lodge & Villas, located very close by, does have 1 bedroom villas available for guests.

Hope you have a wonderful time!
