This is my first time going to WDW. We are wanting to go in October and stay in one off the resort hotels like Pop Century, etc. When is the best time to book our stay? When is too late to book our rooms? Do we pay for the whole trip as we book it?

    Hello Sheena,

You've come to the right place for your first-timer questions.  October is a great month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort.   Epcot's Food & Wine Festival is in full swing and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is also happening on selected evenings.  Add in cooler weather and October is a pretty popular time of year to visit.

I would suggest making reservations now so that you can stay at your chosen resort.  Technically you can book rooms up to a few days before arrival, but I would not recommend it.  If you have a favorite travel agent I would contact them to start your reservation process, or you may call Walt Disney World Resort Reservations.

Generally, a deposit is required when booking your reservation and the agent can advise you of the payment options available and information on when your final payment is due.

I hope this information has been helpful.   Please come back and visit if you have more questions. Hoping your first trip to Walt Disney World is a magical one!
