Hi, This will be my first time at WDW, I plan on going to mickeys christmas party, and 3 day tickets of park hoppers. I am going Nov-28-Nov30 for the disney days. What is the best way to do the parks? Ex: AK-Epcot, HS-MK... I have the party as well!

    Josaphyn,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

Will this really be your first trip to Walt Disney World? You are in for a treat!

There are so many ways to visit, but without knowing more about your traveling party, let me tell you what I would do. I will take into consideration not only that you are attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP), but also that you want to see all four parks. Let's look at two approaches.

Option 1: Party on the 28th
Day 1: Assuming your Christmas Party visit is on your first night, I would start your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. The animals are more alert and active in the morning hours. Then, take full advantage of being able to enter the Magic Kingdom with your Party ticket at 4 pm, to get the most time out of the magic in that park.
Day 2: On the 29th I would head to Disney's Hollywood Studios, allowing myself to stay there for the whole day, or possibly move over late in the day to EPCOT for a meal at one of their amazing restaurants in the World Showcase.
Day 3: For your final day, I would start in the Magic Kingdom, and end the day at EPCOT, again getting to take advantage of all those great meals.

Option 2: Party on the 30th
Day 1: If your party is on the final day, Then I would start off your trip with a visit to the Magic Kingdom, staying for the whole day. Yes, there is that much to do there, and you don't want to short-change yourself.
Day 2: Start off at the Hollywood Studios, then head over to EPCOT for the evening.
Day 3: Begin at the Animal Kingdom, leaving close to 4 to bring a magical ending to your trip by enjoying the Magic Kingdom and all the festive fun of the Christmas party!

    HOPPING TIP
One condition of park hopping is that the park you hop to has to have room for more people. I have never had a problem with this, but just in case, how will you know if that next park has available space? When getting ready to park hop, just call (407) 560-5000. That is the Park Hopping Hotline (or at least that is what I call it!), and it will tell you the status of all the parks, and if the park you want to hop to has space.

This is a good start, but if you write me back with more details about your traveling party, and what you want from the trip, I might be able to tweak it further. I can also offer up some dining suggestions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
