Hi, this will be our first time to WDW, which month is better to come June, July or August? Also what are park hoppers and should I get them? We are a 3 adults and 2 children (5/7) coming for 7 days. I kinda want to come the 3rd week of August. Thank you.

Of the times you mention, the third week of August is actually a great choice. Many of the school in the southern US go back in session in mid-August and the crowds thin out considerably. On the other hand, you will, of course, have to deal with some hot and humid conditions, but will be true no matter when you come in the summer.

Also, beginning in mid-August many of the Disney hotels go into their "value season." Prices are considerably lower during this time. When you call to make reservations (407-W-DISNEY), be sure to ask about this because a few days sway in your scheduling could save you some considerable money.

A park hopper is an add-on to the basic park ticket. The basic tickets allow you visit only one of Disney's four major theme parks per day. For a one-time fee (currently $45, but prices can change) you can buy the Park Hopper feature which allows you to visit multiple parks during one day. The fee is the same whether you're staying one day or ten days. With the Park Hopper, you can tour the Magic Kingdom in the morning and then have dinner at Epcot, or tour the Animal Kingdom in the morning and then go to the Magic Kingdom for evening fireworks. With just the basic ticket you can't do this. I personally always buy the Park Hopper feature for my tickets. I love the flexibility it gives us.

I hope you have a great trip!
