Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    First time to WDW. Looking at staying at the Floridian this November. Will the Monorail be running on a regular schedule to this resort? The reason we are looking at this resort is for the convenience from MK with our young children, 3.5 yrs and 7 mnths.

    I just got home from the Grand Floridian a few days ago. As it happens, they did have the resort monorail shut down for several midday hours due to construction on the soon-to-open Grand Floridian Vacation Club building. But that was scheduled to go on for just two weeks, and that is a very rare occurrence. 

    By November I fully expect that the monorail will be back to a normal operating schedule. This means it will run from 1 hour before the Magic Kingdom opens to an hour after it closes. And that is daily, so you should be able to take advantage of this convenient transportation service during your stay!
