    First time to WDW with my kids, 7 & 4, and I haven't been there for over 25 years.....we are only able to say for a long weekend, Friday to Tuesday, and are looking at AOA vs. cabins at campground. Not interested in standard hotel style room, pros/con

    Hi, Fred!  So, the big pluses of the cabin is that you will feel just like you're at home.  All the creature comforts are there - a full refrigerator, stove, plates and silverware, and a bit more room to spread out.  I think the cabins are great for two things.  The first would be that you want to spend more time at the campground, taking advantage of the activities, and plan to do a lot of your own cooking as a result.  The other reason is if you're staying a while and need more room.

    Art of Animation, if you are looking at the family suites, accommodate the same number of guests (up to six), but the refrigerator is small, you don't have the full kitchen - just a microwave and some paper plates and utensils, and you also lose the outside deck.  The pros of Art of Animation is that I love the pool area there, and I feel like the transportation is a bit easier.

    Both are great choices, with one being a more rustic, cabin in the woods feeling compared to a brightly decorated hotel room feeling.  You'll also find Art of Animation, as a value resort, is a little less expensive.  It comes down to personal preference!
