Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Kelli!
Congratulations on booking your very
first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. You're in for so much magic when you experience all that Disney has to offer!
I'm sorry that you weren't able to
make reservations at some of the restaurants you were hoping for. Since Disney opens their advanced dining reservations 180 days prior, many guests jump on those reservations six months out. The good news for you is that guests change their plans all the time, especially in the month and weeks leading up to their trips. So, continue checking back online or calling (407) WDW-DINE. Quite often, I've been able to snag a "must-do" dining reservation the week before we arrive because someone cancels at the last minute. Keep checking, Kelli! I'm sure you'll be able to grab a few of your favorites before you get there, especially if you're flexible about times. Another option is to stop into the restaurant when you get to the park to ask about any cancelations and availability. Again, there do happen to be last minute changes, so you may find an opening.
Have fun planning, and know that no matter if you get reservations for all the dining you'd like or not, there are still plenty of other amazing
dining spots, many of which don't require reservations, all around the resorts and parks, so you'll certainly enjoy some great meals!
