First time visitors to WDW, 10/29-11/5 and my wife and I have a 3&4 year old. Is Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween the only place for kids to Trick or Treat? I am not sure how much myh kids will get out of this night for the extra cost? Thank you

    Hi Brian!

Halloween activities are offered at quite a few other locations at Walt disney World. Besides Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, Downtown Disney features Trick or Treating as well. Although this year's days & times have not yet been announced, last year two days (Oct 30 & 31) offered Trick or Treating in the evening.

In addition to these places, most Disney resorts also offer fun activities like Mummy Wrapping, Pumpkin Contents and Halloween themed pool games. Some resorts even offer costume contests!

Personally, I love the Halloween parties since its a fun time to see the Characters all dressed up in costume. The parade, which is kicked off by the Headless Horseman, is a fun time. The Haunted Mansion Grave Diggers are my favorite! However, with younger kids it is a tough decision. If they won't be able to stay up very late and enjoy the numerous activities, it may be best to wait until they can!

    Happy Halloween!
