First time visiting WDW we are planning in April for my 6year old birthday l think l have the room just don't no where to start with parks??

    Shernell,

Not to worry. The planning seems overwhelming, but if you take it step by step, you will see it is going to be just fine.

Now that you know where you are staying, your next step is to plan what parks you want to visit. With a 6-year old, your go-to park is the Magic Kingdom. You want to spend double the time there than you would at any other park. After that I would recommend that you go to Hollywood Studios, and maybe the Animal Kingdom, though 1 day there is usually plenty. If you can fit in an Epcot day, that could be fun too, but the other parks have more to offer a younger child typically.

What I would do is map out what park you want to go to on what day. If you write me back with dates you will be here, how many of those days you want to go to parks, and if you are staying in a Disney resort or not (which affects what park you go to, because of Extra Magic Hours), I could recommend to you what parks to go to on what day.

Once you have that, you really are pretty set. You might want to consider any dining you really want to experience, like character meals for instance. And it would not hurt to get an idea of what are your "Must Do!" attractions at each of the park so that you know where you want to visit on a park day. But in both of these cases you don't have to over-plan to have a good time. It can just help you get comfortable with your trip, and frankly the planning can be fun!

Write me back if I can help more!

    Have a magical vacation!
