Hi! First time visiting WDW. We have already purchased tickets and resort, but how much money should we need for spending.

    Hi Iris,

Hooray for your first visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! My family have spent many vacations here and it is one of our favorite vacation spots.

With two big items covered, you are down to food and extras likes souvenirs and tips. You can decide how much you want to spend on souvenirs. There is a range of items to remember your trip.

Food is another large expense. My family generally eats a quick breakfast and lunch and then has a sit down dinner in a restaurant. We spend about $10 for breakfast, $15 for lunch and dinner is a range of $30-$50 a person depending on the restaurant. Take a look at the menus and figure out how much you will spend on meals. You also want to budget extra for snacks and drinks.

Also, you can bring water and food into the parks. Sometimes we will purchase breakfast, snacks and drinks for our trip and this saves on our budget.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
