As someone who was born-and-raised next to the Disney World theme parks, I've seen the wonders of The Most Magical Place on Earth through many lenses. Some of my favorite experiences have been with my hubby (my own Prince Charming) by my side. I’m just your gal to help you imagine all of the ways that you can make your first Disney World vacation unforgettable.
First things first, I love that you are planning to visit all four theme parks together. I recommend that you walk hand in hand with your honey around
EPCOT's World Showcase (Morocco and France are particularly romantic, especially at night). Oga's Cantina at Galaxy's Edge in
Hollywood Studios tends to have more adults than younglings and
Magic Kingdom's classic rides will bring out your inner child.
If you want to transform the already magical fireworks shows into a more romantic experience, you may still have time to
book a private fireworks cruise (Magic Kingdom or EPCOT side). Other romantic spots to watch the fireworks are from the Contemporary Resort's rooftop at California Grill, the Polynesian Resort's beach, or the Riviera Resort's Topolino's restaurant's Mediterranean-themed rooftop.
My favorite lounges to get away from it all are hands down Trader Sam's at the Polynesian (adults only after 8 p.m.), Nomad Lounge at
Animal Kingdom, and the adults-only GEO-82 at EPCOT. A bonus fave that most people don't know about is Dahlia Lounge, a partially outdoor rooftop bar at the beautiful Gran Destino Tower. Consider checking out Disney Springs on one of your vacay days to unwind with a glass of wine at Wine Bar George or a cutesy
Amphicar tour.
AN EXTRA GEM: Don't forget that there is a free water park perk on Disney Resort hotel check-in day. So, if you're down to have fun in the sun, I highly recommend holding your love tightly in the one-of-a-kind
Typhoon Lagoon wave pool. My husband and I did a couples trip there last year and we found our own semi-private slice of paradise towards the back of the park near Typhoon Tilly's.
