We are first time travelers on Disney Magic. Can we book things when we get on the ship? I don't know show schedules, etc so don't want to book an activity during those times. How can I find out so we don't miss out on anything?

Welcome back, Robyn! It's almost time to set sail! I encourage you to log into your online check-in as soon as you're able to do so, as many ticketed events and Port Adventures, as well as reservations for Adult Exclusive dining will book up quickly, and I wouldn't want you to miss out! Let me tell you a bit about what to expect as far as show schedules and dining so you can plan around that.

If you have Main Dining, you'll dine at 5:45. Those with second seating dine at 8:15. There are two show times each night for the Broadway-style shows. Those with Main Dining will eat and then have a bit of free time to explore the ship before heading to the later show at 8:30. Those who have second seating get to enjoy the first show at 6:15 and then enjoy some other activities in between the two dining times until it's time to head to dinner.

First-run Disney films that show in the Buena Vista Theatre will run a few different times during your sailing, and the times and days will be listed once you board the ship. Some of the other events to be aware of are the Sail Away Party and Pirate Night. The Sail Away Party takes place around 4:30, after the mandatory lifeboat drill that first day onboard. You won't want to miss the party that begins as the ship sets sail for so many adventures and your magical vacation officially begins!

Pirate Night includes lots of festivities from dinner through late evening. The Deck Party usually begins after both seatings are done in the restaurants, or in between the two seatings, so that no one misses out. Exact times will be listed in your Navigator onboard. With all of that information, I hope it's enough to give you a rough idea of what to expect so you can book any fun extras you'd like, Robyn! Happy planning!
