Hi, this will be our first time staying at the Grand Californian resort on Disneyland property. Can I have an Instacart order delivered to bell services at the resort (in case I'm not there to meet them)? Thank you for any help you can provide.

    Hi Denise!

Welcome to planDisney! You are just one week away from your magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth - can you believe it? Get ready to make some unforgettable memories! You are also going to love staying in the magic at the Grand Californian - truly, there is nothing better than waking up at the Disneyland Resort!

Happy to report that you can have groceries delivered to you at the Grand Californian, including cold and frozen perishables. When you place the order, but sure to place it under the same name used for your resort reservation. I also highly recommend including your resort confirmation number in the notes section to ensure a smooth arrival and transfer. Your order will be stored at Bell Services, who can be called to deliver it to your room, or you can pick it up from them directly. A few things to note are that they do not accept delivery of alcohol or hot food orders (i.e., if you ordered pizza for delivery). You would need to meet the delivery person yourself in either of those cases.

I hope that helps put those finishing touches on your Disneyland vacation planning! Don't forget that as a Guest of a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you have access to Early Entry - 30 magical minutes in one of the parks each morning. I like to remind Guests to double check which park is offering Early Entry on each day of your visit to ensure that your theme park reservations are aligned, and you can take advantage of this pixie dusted perk! You can easily find out which park opens early by checking out the Park Hours in the app or on the website.

For resort Guests, I also recommend taking note of any activities happening in and around the hotels. Sometimes, there are special offerings that are just as magical as experiences in the parks. Disneyland Park is currently celebrating Season of the Force with some limited-time Star Wars-inspired activities and entertainment. That carries through to the Grand Californian, where you can hear some galactic favorites tinkling the ivories on the piano in the lobby daily at 4:00 pm and 7:30 pm! I heard there are also some fun, themed sweet treats like the Wookie Cookie at the Grand Californian Great Hall Cart!

Denise, I'm sending you pixie dust for an unbelievable time in the magic next week. If you have any more questions in your planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney.

    See ya real soon,
    Tara
