Hi, Its our first time staying in Disney and I'm having a tough time on deciding where to eat. What places are a must go? Also we are a party of 5 and We have a 1 sit ,1 quick, 1 snack meal plan. I'm running out of time our trip is in October. Help!!

    Hi there Mark!

How exciting you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort for the first time in October! You are going to love the Disney Dining Plan and all of the other benefits you will receive as a resort guest!  I absolutely love to "dine around the World" and offer dining recommendations to others! My absolute favorite Walt Disney World Restaurant is 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Resort. Kona Cafe, which is also located at Disney's Polynesian Resort, is another family favorite for both breakfast and dinner!  Epcot has many amazing restaurants to choose from that offer guests not only delicious dishes, but also cultural experiences. My personal favorites include Teppan Edo in the Japan Pavilion, Le Cellier Steakhouse in the Canada Pavilion and Chefs de France in the France Pavilion. At Disney's Animal Kingdom Park, consider dining at Yak & Yeti Restaurant and I would suggest either Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano or 50's Prime Time Cafe at DIsney's Hollywood Studios. My new favorite table-service restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park is the enchanting Be Our Guest Restaurant. If you are considering a Character Dining Experience for your upcoming trip, I would suggest 'Ohana's Best Friends Breakfast at Disney's Polynesian Resort, which features Mickey, Pluto, Lilo and Stitch or Chef Mickey's at DIsney's Contemporary Resort, which features the "Fab 5." Downtown Disney favorites include T-REX Café, Paradiso 37, Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant, and Rainforest Café. You can book Advanced DIning Reservations for table-service restaurants by calling (407) WDW-DINE or by going online here. I hope this helps! Please don't hesitate to visit me again if you would like any additional dining recommendations or if you have any other vacation planning questions. Best wishes for a magical trip, Mark!

    Bon Appétit,
