Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Bonnie!
I am so excited that you will be sailing with Captain Mickey for the very first time! My family sailed the Mediterranean on the
Disney Magic two weeks ago and the entire vacation was breathtaking. You have picked an incredible itinerary to get started and join the
Castaway Club.
As we were also sailing overseas, our
packing list was light and we also planned a laundry day. Disney Cruise Line even makes doing laundry magical. Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App before you arrive at port. It will be linked to your washer and dryer and it will tell you when your wash is done!
Each
launderette onboard is fully automated. You scan your Key to the World Card at the launderette kiosk to charge credits for both the washer and dryers, so no need to plan to bring cash or change with you. Use of each while we were onboard was $3.00 per load (prices are subject to change). You can also purchase detergent and dryer sheets in the launderette, but I recommend tucking a few detergent pods and dryer sheets in a plastic bag and pack it in your luggage instead.
While your laundry spins, you and your boys can check out all the great movies being shown in the
Buena Vista Theater. Entertainment can be subject to change, but the current line up for your sailing includes the new live action Aladdin, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel and Dumbo. As you will be sailing during the release of Toy Story 4, you may be in for a great treat to catch the very latest adventure of Woody and Buzz Lightyear as well!
Enjoy making Mediterranean memories! "Sea" ya real soon! Angie
