This is my first time planning a vacation to Disney World and do not know where to start for making reservations. Any assistance on where to start would be most helpful.

    Howdy Sebastian!

Welcome to planDisney. There is nothing we love more than planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth. I know that as a first-time visitor, it can seem a bit overwhelming, but with a little faith, trust, and pixie dust, we can help you plan. As my friend Peter Pan says, Here we go!

Alrighty, so the best place to start for your planning is the Walt Disney World website. Here you can find information on every aspect of your vacation. Here are the things I would look at for your vacation:

    1. I would Explore Resort Hotel options. There are over 30 resorts to choose from, each fitting any budget. All of the resorts have a unique theme, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of them. Once you have decided on a resort, I would start building your vacation package.

    2. Start building your vacation package. At the top of the Walt Disney World website, you will find the Build Your Vacation option. Enter your dates, number of guests, and the hotel you have chosen, and click View Rates. After selecting your room type, you will add your tickets. I would highly recommend the Park Hopper option. This allows you to hop between parks throughout the day whenever you like. We love doing this as it allows us to revisit rides or experiences at other parks. Finally, you can add the Disney Dining Plan to your vacation. There are many options, and it’s often a great benefit to families who like the convenience of pre-paying for meals. The last thing I would add is Memory Maker. This lets you get all the amazing photos that Photo Pass cast members capture throughout the parks and on the rides.

    3. Now that you have that all done, here are some important dates to remember. Since you will be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you will be able to make your advanced dining reservations 60 days prior to arrival for the length of your stay. There are an endless number of amazing restaurants to choose from, and you can learn more about your Dining options here.

    4. 7 days prior to your arrival, you can book your Lighting Lane Multi Passes. This allows you to choose arrival windows in advance and save time in line at select experiences.

Woo, I know that’s a lot to take in, but I have a few more tips before we part ways. One of the benefits of staying on-property is access to complimentary transportation throughout the parks. I would also check out all of the Enchanting Extras available, such as Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

Sebastian, I hope this helps you get your magical vacation planning started. I’m sure you will have further questions, so please stop back by here at planDisney, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

    See ya real soon,
    Robert
