this will our first time in Florida and we have a 15 year old son and 11 and 9 year old daughters plus my husband and myself we want a room and dining for 4 days and 5 night plus a two day tickets to the theme parks can you help us choose what we need?

    Rhonda,

It sounds as though you already have a pretty good handle on what you need! Just so you know, the dining plan is based on the number of nights you stay, so if you will be there for 5 nights, you'd get 5 days worth of meals.

As a fellow family of 5 mom, I can tell you that this number does limit the number of resorts able to accommodate your family in one room. Disney has a page that details their options for families of 5 or more, which you can find here. To their list, I would add a few more options.

    • Port Orleans-Riverside has rooms in the Alligator Bayou section that include a pull-out trundle bed. This would not be suitable for an adult, but could work for your youngest daughter.
    • The Grand Floridian, Polynesian, Contemporary, Beach Club, Yacht Club, and Boardwalk Resorts all sleep 5 in a room, with a daybed in each.
Hope that helps you plan, and of course feel free to ask any more questions you might have!
