Hello this is my first time doing the princess half marathon and my husband will be accompanying me. Do we need to pay for him to enter the park and see the race?

    Hi Emma!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It will be so nice to have your husband there chEARing you on during the Disney Princess Half Marathon!

Your husband will be able to view you along the course at several different points. Inside the parks, he can see you at Magic Kingdom around mile 6 and inside Epcot around mile 13. For Magic Kingdom, he will not need a ticket to watch you race down Main Street USA. This viewing area will open at 5:30 AM and is first come, first serve. Inside of Epcot, the park will be open at this point, so he would need a ticket if he wanted to see you in this portion of the park. The finish line is actually located out in the Imagine Parking Lot and this will not require anything for entry.

One thing he may want to look into purchasing is a ChEAR Squad Package. While this is certainly not a necessity, it's an added luxury if he's interested! He'll have a reserved seating area at the finish line and a reserved area inside Magic Kingdom as well. In addition to this perk, he'll also have a reserved private restroom, complimentary beverages and a runDisney ChEAR Squad t-shirt, stadium blanket and clapper.

I hope y'all have a wonderful trip and please let me know if you have any other questions.
