It’s my first time going to Disneyland and didn’t know about reservations till last minute , if I show up early 30 minutes before park open would that help for me to get a opportunity to go in ? Im hoping to do whatever it takes due to celebrating my niece

    Hey there, Faleolupe!

Welcome to planDisney! It sounds like you're ready to celebrate your niece at The Happiest Place On Earth today. How exciting!

Now, here's the scoop: Disneyland operates on this reservation system for entry, which means, unfortunately, arriving 30 minutes before the gates swing open might not do the trick. But hey, no worries! If you aren't able to celebrate in the park with your family, there are ways to enjoy time together outside of the theme parks.

As someone who lives nearby, I often find myself wanting to visit friends from out-of-town at the last minute. Even though I have a Magic Key, sometimes I cannot secure a reservation on the day of a visit. Why not check out the Downtown Disney District? It's got some fantastic shops, yummy treats, and cool vibes to soak up. Another place I've recently visited is the lobby of the newly designed Pixar Place Hotel. The third floor of this hotel is the only place at the Disneyland Resort where guests can meet Bing Bong. What a treat! My little one also loves to play in the lobby of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. They often have seasonal treats and entertainment there, as well as a large, cozy fireplace and casual dining options.

I totally get the importance of celebrating together as a family, and we hope this day will be absolutely perfect for your niece.

A Very Merry Unbirthday To You,
    Danielle
