Hi first time to Disneyland for 4 adults - we visit Disney World at least yearly. Wondering if parkhoppers are necessary at Disneyland and how many days are recommended to see everything

    Hi Lois!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love getting to help folks that adore Walt Disney World and are branching out to experience Disneyland Resort!

While the transportation at Walt Disney World is wondEARful, it can still be a bit of process to switch between different parks. At Disneyland Resort though, the two main gates are less than 100 yards away from one another so park hopping is incredibly convenient! While it isn't an absolute necessity, I think you'll find the ease with which you can hop back and forth makes the Park Hopper Ticket worth it. On most days, Disneyland tends to be busier than Disney California Adventure so it's a great to be able to bounce back and forth and take advantage of lower wait lines based on the time of day. If you haven't already I'd definitely recommend downloading the Disneyland Mobile App to allow yourself to check wait times, schedule dining reservations and so much more!

I think the ideal number of days at Disneyland Resort is three days, especially with four adults. As adorable as little ones are, they can kind of slow things down in the parks, where with all adults you'll progress through the parks much more efficiently! I think it's the perfect amount of time to experience all the attractions, plus the nighttime entertainment.

I hope y'all have a magical trip and please let us know if you have any other questions before you head to the Happiest Place on Earth!
