This is the first time to Disney. I am worry about the food. We haven't purchased any dining plan, I am afraid that we might spend more money than planned on food. we are staying 5 days, 2 adults, 2 kids. Do you have any recommendation?

If you go to the website allearsnet.com, you can find the menus for almost every restaurant at WDW, these will list recent pricing for all menu items, so you can take a look here and get an idea of how much to budget based on your own personal eating habits.

Also, here are some general tips that many budget-minded guests used to stretch their dining dollars at Walt Disney World:

    - Eat most of your meals at counter service or quick service restaurants. These are nearly always cheaper than table service restaurants.
    - Bring your own water bottles and snacks into the parks. You can bring food with you into the parks. A water bottle from home will be cheaper than one purchased on site.
    - Have your biggest meal of the day at lunch. Often at table service restaurants the food at lunch and dinner is the same, but the prices are lower at lunch.
    - Share meals. Light eaters may find the portions at WDW to be large. If that's you, then share a sandwich between two people.
    - Drink tap water. All the Disney restaurants will give you free ice water with your meal. This saves on soft drink purchases.
    - Have breakfast in your room. A bowl of cereal or a granola bar in your room is almost always cheaper than dining out.
    - Have adults eat children's meals. Again, if you're a light eater, the child's portion may be enough for you.

These are just a few food-related money-saving ideas.  I hope you have a great trip!
