Hi first time to disney world ever..Going with hubby and dd who is 4 ... I really want to take in the fantastic fireworks.. could anyone let me know where the best place to view the fireworks is and what parks have fireworks at night.. thanks

    Hi Melanie,

Three of the Disney theme parks have night time entertainment that includes fireworks.

The most traditional fireworks are at the Magic Kingdom. There are great viewing spots anywhere on Main Street USA. My personal favorite spot to see the MK fireworks is on the platform entrance to the Main Street train station. You go up a flight of stairs and there is a balcony with some seats. From this elevated vantage point, you get a great view of the Castle, the fireworks, and the crowd below reacting to the fireworks. So special!

Epcot's Illuminations show is part fireworks and part light projection. There are views everywhere along the World Showcase water, but be sure you have a clear sight line to the ball in the middle of the lake. If you can arrange to be dining outdoors at the UK Rose and Crown restaurant or the Mexico La Hacienda restaurant, then you'll be in a particularly good position.

The Hollywood Studios show is called Fantasmic. This is more of stage show which includes some lasers and fireworks, as well as tons of other super cool entertainment. The theater is HUGE and there are really no bad spots in the house. However, if you want to be up close to have a better view of the Disney characters in the water parade, then you should plan to be at the theater at least an hour before show time.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
