This is my first time to Disney World. I have 2 children and was wondering where the Character dining takes place? We hope to be staying at Port Orleans Riverside. Will the dining be close to there or do we have to shuttle somewhere?

Hi, Carrie! Congratulations on your first Walt Disney World vacation! Each of the four theme parks has at least one character dining event and so do many of the deluxe resorts.  You can find where each of these meals takes place by consulting the Walt Disney World Restaurants page and filtering for "Character Dining."  The location of the meal is listed in orange under dining experience's name. There is not currently a character dining experience at your resort, but you can use Disney Transportation to get you where you want to be.  There is, of course, non-character dining available at Port Orleans without utilizing transportation.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
