Its our first time to Disney world with my almost 2 year old what should we expect? what is the best times to see Mickey? Im a newbie!!

    Hello Kaley,

Welcome to the Moms Panel.  You've picked the right place to bring your newbie questions to.  There is SO much information that we'll have to start out slow.  Once you've got a few items under your belt, there will be plenty of time to ask more questions.  Disney has an entire website dedicated to traveling with little ones.  Be sure and download the guide that is chock full of advice and tips to make your visit a magical experience for your family.

The second thing you will want to do is to download the My Disney Experience App to your phone.  The app will provide you will all the character locations along with the times that they are available.  Mickey Mouse is at the Town Square Theatre most days from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.  You can also visit with Mickey at Chef Mickey's restaurant for a fun filled character meal.

Don't forget about the Baby Care Centers at all four theme parks. It's a parent's haven for diaper changing, feeding and quiet time.

My final bit of advice; take it slow. You know your child and their schedule, so take your cues from them. They'll let you know when they've had enough.  When you reach that point, head back to your hotel so that everyone can relax and recharge for another day at the happiest place on earth.

Please come back again so that we can help you plan the most magical vacation ever.

Walt Disney captured my heart as a little girl and has not let go since. As a parent and grandparent, I have been to the Walt Disney World Resort with children of all ages, and also as empty nesters. I would like to share my years of experience so that you are able to start your own tradition of Walt Disney World memories, just as I have. Learn More About Leanne
